When it comes to broadcasting, I’m a “lifer”. I’ve been working in this industry since I was 15. I started as on-air talent, progressed to management and ownership, while honing my engineering skills. In the past 10-years, I’ve been doing mostly engineering work.
In 2010, I was invited by the Missouri Broadcasters Association to do ABIP “mock” inspections. I trained with FCC Field Agent Ron Ramage at the Kansas City FCC Office. This is a valuable service from which every station can benefit.
In 2011, I began doing inspections for the Oklahoma Association of Broadcasters as well. I am passionate about the history and future of broadcasting, as well as ‘all things tech’. Call me a geek, it’s a compliment!
